What is Debrand ?

Debrand - It is also known as "unbrand" or "decustomise" (DEBRAND WILL NOT UNLOCK YOUR MOBILE)

Debrand means - Decustomise branding such as service provider startup, menu, WAP, GPRS or MMS setting in the phone software.

General benefits:

I can only say good things about my first experience with King Mobile. The detailled instructions with screenshots helped me know what to expect and feel comfortable throughout the entire debranding process.
I had to include a Spanish language pack version for my phone but Ben even included the address of where to find the right version Firmware to use on my phone.
All in all, the price is excellent (I used the debranding service along with the SIM unlock service) and Ben answered my questions straightaway... on a Sunday evening too.

Sony Ericsson W995 DeBrand - Excellent service. Great to communicate with King Mobile. Thanks to their service I have been released from the shackles of 3 branding on my handset which was stopping me from sending MMS messages and access the Internet. Software worked 100%. I found my software you sent in the member account area and have now followed the instructions to unlock 3 three network to sim unlocked.

It was very easy and shall use it again for other phone i.e My O2 Stellar
(Tytan II) possibly needs deranding? If not this three on the C903 clearing up.

I bought unlock and debrand by cable for my sony w910i. Unlock is easy thanks to very clear instructions and debrand instructions are very clear too with helpful and highlighted screenprints. However, i managed to make some mistakes with the debrand and ran into some problems! Prompt responses to my emails (day and night) have been invaluable in ensuring I was able to complete the process, and the additional offer from Ben of re-doing the whole thing when it had gone wrong through my errors is outstanding! I had the sony ericsson satio as an upgrade from vodafone, it did nothing but crash and play up (aparently due to vodafone's software on the phone). Looking for a soloution i found KINGMOBILEPHONE on the internet, i ordered the debranding by cable for my phone, recieved by e-mail shortly after and set to work on it following there great and simply instruction's.
The whole process took about 40min's and so far seem's to be working perfectly well(minus vodafone's crap software) as sony ericsson intended it.

I was going to use an eBay unlocker but was a bit concerned as they are based in Malaysia (and non-tangible goods are NOT covered by the eBay guarantee, no matter WHAT the trader claims).

This dealer is ?2 more expensive, but is based in the UK, within reach of a County Court claim!

What happened? I got the code (an 8-digit number), I put iy in when requested... and that's it. Unlocked. Simple. Done. No hassle.

Pay the extra and use this dealer... it's worth it.

It all worked perfectly fine.

I unlocked AND debranded my SE K850i within half an hour.

The service is excellent. You get what you pay for and even more. KMP even asked me whether I wanted a Dutch, English or Dutch and English firmware because I live in the Netherlands.

Excellent guides, you can't do anything wrong if you have a bit of brain :)

The tutorial was great, although I did run into a problem with the software the first time round. However the support was amazing and I managed to get the phone working again in less then 10minutes.
